打造居家生活設計

I bought this for our renovation planning and ended up reading it cover to cover in a weekend. Summerour's writing on what actually makes a dwelling feel like home is thoughtful without being pretentious, and the photos of the crafted interiors gave me several ideas I'm stealing for our kitchen.

The photography alone is worth it—I've flipped through the chapter on open-plan living rooms three times now just for the light in those shots. Summerour balances big architectural ideas with details you can actually borrow, like how he frames a window seat.

Summerour's writing on what makes a house feel like a home genuinely changed how I think about my own space. The chapters on light and proportion alone were worth it, and the large format makes the architectural photos easy to linger over.
