I wasn't expecting the embroidery to look this delicate in person, and the satin stitch border gives it a really finished edge. First night on the percale and it had that crisp, cool feel I was hoping for.

The 520 thread count cotton percale feels crisp and cool the moment I get in, not slippery like sateen. And the embroidered coral pattern with that little satin stitch border is subtle enough that it doesn't fight with my patterned duvet.

I've washed these sheets four times now and the percale somehow gets crisper each time instead of pilling like my old set did. The satin stitch border is a nice touch too, gives the edges a finished look on the bed.
