I read this before my trip and the sections on the culture and landscapes had me planning stops I hadn't even considered. It's a gorgeous book to flip through at home, too.

The photography alone is worth it—I've flipped through the landscape sections three times already. What surprised me most is how the curated recommendations actually dig into local culture instead of just hitting the obvious tourist stops.

I bought this before a two-week trip and the curated sections on culture and landscapes got me way more excited than any guidebook has. It's a hefty coffee-table book too, so it doubles as a nice piece to leave out.
