The chapters on its transformation from a little fishing village into a coastal destination are what kept me turning pages. I didn't expect the seaside photography to be this gorgeous either.

I picked this up before a trip and the section on how the village grew from a fishing hamlet into a resort town gave me way more context than any travel blog did. The seaside chapters are paced well too, so it never drags.

The photos of the sun-kissed shoreline alone are worth it, and I didn't expect the history of the old fishing village to pull me in like it did. Read it on the train in two sittings.
