居家藝術：設計反思

The photos in this book alone are worth it, but the text on how McAlpine and Ferrier think about light and room flow is what kept me reading. I've already dog-eared a dozen pages for our own renovation.

I bought this as a gift for a friend who's renovating, and ended up keeping it for myself. McAlpine and Ferrier's reflections on light and proportion genuinely changed how I look at my own living room, and the photography holds up to repeat browsing.

Ferrier's writing on interiors feels more like reading poetry than a design book, and the way she describes layering texture and light actually changed how I look at my own living room. I've read the first book twice and this follow-up holds up just as well.
