Boules D'Escalier: Flávia & Frank Abubakir-kolleksjonen

I had no idea staircase finials could be this varied until I flipped through these pages. The close-up shots of the carved wood boules are the highlight for me, though a few captions felt thin on the history behind specific pieces.

The photos in this collection are gorgeous, especially the close-ups showing the carved detail on each boule d'escalier. My only gripe is that the captions are pretty sparse, so I found myself wanting more history behind the pieces. Still, it's a lovely book to leave on the coffee table.
