海辺の家

I bought this after seeing the designer's work in a magazine, and the room-by-room tour of her own tropical home is even better than I hoped. The styling details on every page gave me a dozen ideas for my own place.

I bought this after flipping through it at a friend's house, and the chapters on working with natural light and open-air rooms are what sold me. The photography alone makes it worth keeping on the coffee table, though I wish the floor plans had been printed a bit larger.

The photos of the tropical rooms are gorgeous and the styling ideas are easy to borrow for my own place. My only gripe is that the text leans a bit light on practical how-to, but as a coffee-table escape it's a pleasure to flip through.
