I bought this before a week in Athens and it completely changed how I spent my evenings—the nightlife and design sections sent me to bars and galleries I'd never have found otherwise. The photos are gorgeous too, especially the art coverage.

I picked this up expecting another ruins-and-ancient-history book and instead got a proper look at the city's art revival. The design coverage is genuinely fresh, and the photos made me want to book a trip just to see the galleries in person.

The nightlife and design sections completely changed how I think about the city—I had no idea the art scene had taken off like that. The photos are gorgeous too, especially the ones covering the newer development around the coast.
