The holly leaves are actually sculpted into the earthenware rather than just painted on, which you notice the moment you pick it up. Used it for Christmas cookies and the little berry details got a few compliments from my mother-in-law, of all people.

Bought this as a little hostess gift and ended up keeping it for myself. The earthenware has a nice weight to it, and the holly berries are painted with just enough shine to catch the light on the table.

The hand-painted holly leaves have a slightly raised texture you can actually feel under your thumb, which makes it feel like real earthenware rather than something stamped. I used it for cookies at Christmas dinner and got three separate comments on it.
