The hand-painted gold rim catches the light beautifully, and the footed base keeps the plate steady when I'm carrying it to the table. The porcelain feels noticeably smooth and well-finished, not at all like my older serving pieces.

Served a birthday cake on this last weekend and the footed base kept it steady while I cut slices one-handed. The porcelain is smooth as glass and the gold rim catches the light without looking gaudy. Genuinely the nicest serving piece I own now.

The hand-painted gold detailing on this plate is genuinely stunning in person, way nicer than photos show. I used it for a small birthday cake last weekend and the footed base made it feel like something from a fancy bakery display.
