The diagonal cut makes it look way more interesting than a standard rectangular tray, and the marble has enough weight that it doesn't slide around when I carry it loaded with fruit. It's been living on my coffee table as a centerpiece and I keep getting asked where it's from.

The dark veining in the marble is even better in person, almost like a storm cloud frozen in stone. I've been using it as a centerpiece for fruit on the kitchen island and it makes a bowl of oranges look intentional.

The diagonal cut gives this tray such a dramatic look on my coffee table, and the dark veining in the marble is even moodier in person than I expected. I've been using it to hold lemons and a small candle, and it's become the piece everyone asks about.
