The subtle vertical lines give it a nice vintage feel without looking fussy, and it sits well on my table next to both my old china and my plain modern plates. The size is right for holding a decent amount of mixed nuts without feeling oversized.

The vertical optic pattern catches the light nicely without being flashy, and it works just as well on my everyday table as it did at the holidays. Sized right for a handful of nuts or a side salad too.
