That rope-like texture on the stoneware looks way nicer in my entryway than the plain metal stand I had before. It holds my tall umbrella plus a couple of folding ones without tipping, and the nautical look fits the space perfectly.
The stoneware has a nice heft to it, so it doesn't tip over when I'm cramming wet umbrellas in after a storm. The nautical rope detailing fits right in by my front door without looking gimmicky.
The rope-like texture on this stoneware stand looks way nicer in person than I expected, and it actually keeps my wet umbrella from dripping all over the entry floor. Heavy enough that it doesn't tip when I shove a full-size umbrella in.
