The heft of this thing surprised me — it doesn't wobble or tip when my cat brushes past it. The cinched waist makes even a loose bunch of grocery-store lilies look intentional.
The ruffled rim catches light in a way that makes even a plain bunch of lilacs look styled. It's heavier and more substantial than I expected for handmade glass, and the cinched waist gives it a shape you don't see in mass-produced vases.
The weight of this glass is what surprised me most — it feels substantial without being clunky on the shelf. Lilacs sit perfectly in that cinched waist, and the swirl in the optic glass catches afternoon light beautifully.
