I've washed these covers three times already and the block-printed stripes haven't faded a bit. The lines really do look hand-drawn up close, which gives the whole bed a relaxed feel.

The stripes have this slightly uneven, hand-drawn quality that makes the whole bed feel less catalog-perfect and more lived-in. Fabric softened up nicely after the first wash and the block-printed lines didn't fade at all.
