Thomas W. ★★★★★

The chapters on snow polo in St. Moritz alone were worth it, and I had no idea the sport stretched from Mongolia to Mexico. The photos of the historic grass grounds are gorgeous, though I found myself wishing for a few more maps. Still, it's the kind of book I keep picking back up.

Joseph ★★★★★

Didn't expect a coffee table book to teach me how snow polo works, but the section on St. Moritz had me hooked. The photos of the historic grounds from Mongolia to Mexico are gorgeous, and the writing actually respects the reader's intelligence.

Edward O. ★★★★★

The chapter on Barbados alone was worth the price, tracing how the game moved from plantation fields to proper grounds. I've read a lot of sports history and this one actually tells a story instead of just listing dates.
