I wasn't expecting the subway tile arrangement to look this good in person, but the little brown spots on the cowrie shells really pop against the white. The coating feels solid too, not flimsy like some frames I've bought.
The hand-placed shell pieces give each frame such an organic look, and the brown spots really pop against the white. I've had mine up for a few months now and the coating has held up perfectly—no chipping or fading at all.
The hand-laid cowrie shell tiles give it such a unique texture, and the brown spots catch the light beautifully on my shelf. Nice to know it's coated for durability too, since it sits near a sunny window.
