Wiklinowy cokół i urna. Jak każdy element z kolekcji Mainly Baskets Home z wikliny i rattanu, cokół i urna zostały zainspirowane starożytnością. Kolumnowy cokół wymyślili starożytni Grecy, a później szeroko przyjęli go Rzymianie w II wieku n.e., a kształty urn, do których się odnosimy, sięgają już 7000 r. p.n.e.
The braided square column looks like something pulled from an old Greek villa, and it holds my heaviest ceramic urn without a wobble. The wicker weave is tight and even all the way around, no gaps or loose ends.
The braided square column gives it such a solid, grounded look on my entry table, and the wicker weave is tight with no loose ends anywhere. Honestly it reads more like an antique find than something new.
The braided square base is heavier than it looks, so it holds steady even on our uneven wood floors. I've got it in the entryway with a dried eucalyptus bunch in the urn, and the woven texture makes the whole corner feel warmer.
