The hand-painted key lime green feathers on this little cockatiel are genuinely lovely, and the white porcelain has a cool, smooth weight that feels far nicer than I expected. It's been sitting on my bookshelf for a couple weeks now and I still catch myself brushing a finger over the glaze.
The porcelain is smoother than I expected, and the key lime green on the wings is painted with real care. It's been sitting on my desk for a month and I still find myself running a thumb along its back.
I bought this as a small desk companion and the hand-painted key lime green feathers really do look sharp against the white body. Only gripe is it's lighter than I figured, so I'd handle it carefully near the edge of a shelf.
