The faceted interior throws the candlelight around in a way I didn't expect, and it looks far more expensive than it was. Sat it on my dining table and it's become the first thing guests comment on.
The strap of glass around the rim feels surprisingly substantial in the hand, not delicate at all. Filled with a pillar candle, the facets on the inside scatter the flame light across the table beautifully.
The wide facets inside the bowl throw the candlelight around in a way that surprised me. It's a hefty, well-made piece of glassblowing and the footed base sits really steady on my mantel.
