ベアタ・ヒューマン、すべての部屋は歌うべき

The photography alone is worth it—every page feels like walking through a real home rather than a showroom. I've picked up so many small ideas, like how she mixes a bold wallpaper with quiet furniture so the room still feels calm.

I bought this after seeing the designer's London studio work mentioned somewhere, and the chapter on mixing patterns and color is what sold me — it's bold but never chaotic. The paper quality makes the interiors look almost like you're standing in the rooms.

The photos alone are worth it — I keep flipping back to the kitchen with the painted checkerboard floor for ideas. Heuman's voice comes through in the captions too, dry and funny in a way most design books aren't.
