The frosted stripes are copper-wheel engraved, not printed, so they actually catch the light differently depending on how the glass is turned. Guests noticed the texture before they even picked one up.

I keep catching myself running a finger along the engraved stripes whenever I set the table, they just feel nicer than plain smooth glass. Two of them have already survived a few rounds in the dishwasher with no dulling of the frosted pattern.

The frosted stripes have this subtle texture you can actually feel when you run your thumb over the glass, which I didn't expect to notice but now I do every time. They've held up through several dishwasher cycles with no clouding or fading.
