The dark teal is richer in person than I expected, and the hemstitch detail along the edge gives it a finished, almost hotel-like look. Percale usually feels crisp to me, but this one is smooth right out of the package without being slippery.

I've washed these sheets three times now and the percale somehow gets softer each time. The hemstitch detail is subtle enough that it doesn't look fussy, just clean. Only bedding I've owned where I actually notice the smooth, cool feel the moment I get in.

The percale has that crisp, cool feel I was hoping for, and the hemstitch detail along the edge looks nicer in person than in the photos. Washed it twice already and it came out just as smooth.
