Koti kaikkiin vuodenaikoihin

I bought this after moving into a new place and the photos of tablescapes gave me so many ideas I actually used for a dinner party. Rollins has a way of making elegant entertaining feel doable rather than intimidating, and the chapters on setting a table are the ones I keep going back to.

The entertaining chapters alone are worth the price—I finally have a plan for setting a table that doesn't look like an afterthought. The photography is gorgeous without being precious, and the tone reads like advice from a friend with great taste.

I didn't expect an interior design book to be this useful for actual hosting, but the entertaining sections gave me real ideas for a dinner party last month. The photography is gorgeous too, and it's the kind of book you leave out on the coffee table.
