The hand-painted ceramic detail on this candle holder is genuinely lovely, little brushstroke variations that make it feel made by a person rather than a machine. It's sitting on my dining table holding a pillar candle and the sculptural artichoke shape gets comments every time someone comes over.

I bought two of the artichoke candle holders and they look like little sculptures even without a candle lit. The hand-painted ceramic has real depth to the green, no two leaves quite alike, which I love.

The hand-painted detailing on this artichoke candle holder is even more striking in person—each leaf has this subtle glaze variation that catches the light. It’s sculptural enough to sit out on its own, but I’ve already got it holding a taper for dinner parties.
